This stair is a custom, 55’ tall, multi level, fire escape stairway for a commercial building. The stair is 60" in diameter and uses 30 degree treads. Handrail is a # 220 (1 15/16" wide) molded bronze cap rail with alternating balusters of # 314 (1/2" square with a twist) & # 318 (1/2" square with a twist) and a casting every other baluster. The treads are a # 110 (12 gauge) checker plate steel. The center column is 3 1/2" round schedule 40 pipe. This stair has multiple custom landing with a heavy duty MC 6x12.0 channel frame and a 19W4 bar grate overlay. These landings have guard rails and balusters to match the stair. The stairway was assembled in one unit and splice for shipping and welded together at the job site. The handrails on the stairways and landings have a mirror finish and the stairway was finished with a red oxide primer. The finish paint was applied at the job site by others.
