Smooth steps are available on all welded, standard and heavy duty kits. These treads can be built in steel, aluminum and stainless steel for interior or exterior use. Exterior applications, you can add a 2" wide strip of grip tape for skid resistance. Our most economical step comes standard on all steel stairs. Material thickness starts at 12 gauge and can be as thick as specified. When economy is the driving factor smooth steps and landings are the right choice.
